The wife gave me the 'frist round' of thumbs up to look for an enclosed car hauler. Anyone have preferences over another as far as brand? Triple T in Chinook as an 8.5 x 20 Haulmark on the lot.

Tom, Check out the Napa dealer in Laurel also. Jeff has bough 5-6 trailers and seem to get a good deal on nice trailers. They are interstate. Seems like all them company's got different quality's so make sure is like apples to apples. H & H are probably the best, but were too much money for us low buck dudes.. Always are cheaper back east, but the travel is a hassel.... More used ones all the time as trailers are becoming an in thing.... Dano

Thanks Dan. I'll give him a call. About the only ones I've seen locally are all Haulmarks.
I'll make it big enough Rick.

Placed an order with J & M Trailer Sales (NAPA) out of Laurel. Great price for the features. Twenty eight footer. No one I contacted in the state had any on the lot. It'll be thirty days until delivery, but will have all the goodies we wanted.

I'm tossing around the idea of a new trailer.

It's a 28ft Interstate radius front 'car carrier', not the deluxe model with aluminum wheels. It has the extended tougue, spare tire, aluminum rock guard all around, (2) 5,200lb axles, chrome rims, finished white interior (including ceiling), 3rd door on drivers side for exiting, RV style side entry door, and of the usual vents in the ceiling and sides, D-rings in the floor, plus inteirior lighting and three exterior loading lights. The price was $9,100 delivered to Laurel. We'd shopped for new and used in the state and found a used 08 without half the goods and had exterior dings and they were asking $8,900. A new Charmac trailer out of Butte (waiting period of 6 weeks and delivery to Butte) was going to be well over $10k with the options.
Then I found a used equalizer hitch and ordered the 10,000lb Ultra package tie down straps through Macs in Idaho. Now I have to talk the wife into a 3/4 ton diesel truck to pull this bad boy. Ya, right.
