Is this a IHRA Sanctioned Race? What is the charge to race this weekend? Can we stay at the track Sept 4, 5, & 6 ? We would head home the morning after the races. How long is the shut down area? What is the return road like there? What are the pits like at Malta? We race at Minot quite often but looking to do something different for the Sept long weekend. This will be a 7 hour trip to get there form here. Thank you Greg

I was talking with some friends last night and he thought the iron man was Sept 19. It's the 6th huh, that sucks for us we will be racing Minot they are having a jr race on the 6th, 1st place gets 1250 and runner up gets 750. One of the parents of a jr from Bismark got all this lined out, since we have 3 jrs can't really miss that one. We will be up in Malta in Aug. tho, looking forward to giving you guys a try we race Minot and Billings, we were headed up to you in june until the snow came . Are you guys doing a big money race again this year like last year? Thanks

The Fritz's have done a Great job raising cash for the Motor Magic Event. We will not be there for that race. Just to much dust to run Drag Race cars in. We will miss our fellow racers. We are considering trying Malta or Gimli for that race. EDRA Race - "Season Final" - August 30, 2009 Payouts for the Jr's in Esetvan are higher for the August 30 race.
Check the website - www.edra.netfirms.com
"Junior Dragster" - $ 1100.00 Total prize pay outs Winner - $ 500.00 2nd Place - $ 300.00 3rd Place - $ 100.00 4th Place - $ 100.00 Best R/T During Competition - $ 100.00
These Jr. payouts are sponsored by Graham's Tire
All other classes are $400.0 to the winner & $300.00 to second place.
There is also the "Merit Ford 500 light" worth $500.00 to the first racer who cuts a 500 light during competition.See you in Minot in August. We finally have both cars working. I ran a 5.74 @ 122 mph here in Estevan at the last race. We soften the cars up to run a airport race but traction was decent last couple of races. Both cars Seem to be working - Good again. Got to touch wood. Talk at you later.

Is this a IHRA Sanctioned Race? Yes What is the charge to race this weekend? 45-Pro & Super Pro, 25 Sportsman, 10 High School & Jr.'s Can we stay at the track Sept 4, 5, & 6 ? Yes, but there is no electricity We would head home the morning after the races. How long is the shut down area? Approx, 1980?? We have had low 5 sec cars run with no problem. What is the return road like there? It is asphalt except about 50 ft around the first turn out. What are the pits like at Malta? Grass parking with gravel roads, NO shade. We race at Minot quite often but looking to do something different for the Sept long weekend. This will be a 7 hour trip to get there form here. Thank you The ticket print out is in the bottem of the tower at the start line. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call, 406-654-1132, Greg Kirkwood, HMIC

Hats Off to The Malta Group. Sept 5-6 Iron Man Race. Thank you for the Great time and Friendly atmosphere at your faculty. I am sorry the Dragster broke. It will be fixed and ready to run soon. We had fun at the event. I got to watch when the wife ran her car.
Traction was fair but it would be tough making slicks stick when the diesels were pulling the sticky stuff loose. Well operated race event. We will be back again. Thank you.
Great job done by the photographer. We will be making a order for some pictures soon.

Thank you terminator, we enjoyed having you guys there. Sorry you broke down, and if you noticed the state diesel boys did not use the grove, but we have some locals that have not learned or will not move over. Still some training in progress... Dano
