Dear fatasses (myself included), ;D I've put on a fair amount of weight...everybody I know seems to have put on a few pounds. I'm getting sick and tired of being sick and tired. ...lol... I'm committed to dropping 30 pounds by spring, as are a few others that have noticed how tight the ol' pants are getting in the waistline. It's hard to go it alone. So we started the small block program for all of us... We have a good scale and a chart down at 4th Street Machine here in Glasgow. The goal? Turn us "diesels" into healthy "small blocks". The simple fact is, it seems more important to get after it, and be healthy, if you post up a number and have to be accountable for it in front of your friends and peers. And it's easier to eat and be healthy if all of those around you are doing the same and being supportive. No money, just guys and gals that know it's important to be healthy and eat healthy, and are just gonna give it their best shot. I think I saw about 10 names on the chart so far. Anybody's welcome to come down and toss your name on the list and weigh in. Once a week swing on by and weigh again. Gotta get your motivation where you can. Think of it as FREE horsepower. 30 pounds is like 50 FREEE horsepower. (don't get to involved in that math... just pretend it's accurate.) I'm down 3 pounds and already that feels better. Take charge of yourself, LET'S GO!!!!!

we're all loosing a pound or so here and there. helps to have people you know with a common goal. Let's get healthy. Get your name on the list.

Lot of folks being successful at getting healthy. I think we have 5-6 people that have already lost 5 pounds. Good start everybody! C'mon on down and get on board. It's easier to do something like this, when you know a lot of the other people doing it for support.
