Hey I'm from Medicine Hat Alberta and was wondering about start times and directions for this weekend a few of us were planning to attend. Also if we can stay at the track or if we have to leave for the night. Thanks, Troy 403-502-0248

Hi Troy
I will try and answer your questions.
Start times are 9:30 on both days.
Directions are easy, just follow the signs. But when you pull into Malta, you will turn at the underpass and drive through town. You will see the track on the south side of Malta.
You can stay at the track.
Also, Saturday night is the annual Dinner and Auction. It will be after the races and will be in town at our city hall. You will have a great time and maybe can win some great prizes.
Buy the way, I am the track photographer and look forward to some new cars to shoot. So bring alot of friends with you.

Here's a google map shot of the convenience store about 100 yards from the track. It's the old airport runway (lower left of the convenience store) if you zoom in on Malta to have a look. Google maps hasn't updated the image to reflect what it looks like now. Get to the store and you're basically at the track, Keep straight for another 100 yards, cross a small bridge and hang a right . truly, at this point, you can't miss it maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF8&q=packy+malta+montana&fb=1&gl=us&hq=packy&hnear=Malta,+Mt&hl=en&view=map&cid=1105648543736057131&iwloc=A&ved=0CBwQpQY&sa=X&ei=eoyRTLSyIpPQoATGlsDhDg

Right on thanks guys I think there is 2 of us for sure coming down, I have a blue and white 77 camaro and the other guy has a 79 capri white and orange. Would it be safe to assume that the track opens about 8 and tech at 8:30? Just trying to figure out timing for boarder crossing hours.

Not sure about the crossing at Havre, but ours from Swift Current (Morgan/Monchy) is now on winter hours 9am-6pm.
