Dave Morgan is coming to Malta August 27 & 28 for an Iron Man Tune-up. Location is the ANG Armory just south of the track.
Popular tech writer and chassis teacher Dave Morgan will be in Malta a week before the Iron Man race to give a seminar, workshop AND test session. “I want to thank John Carnahan and the owners of Phillips County Motorsports, Inc. for joining me in putting this event together. Having a seminar, then a workshop and finally some track time is absolutely the best possible format for helping drag racers solve their suspension and chassis problems.”
Morgan, who is also the manager for Magic City International Dragway in Minot, ND will remain in Malta for the week between the seminar and the Iron Man race. I’d like to be available for my students the week before the race so that I can help them if they need it and Rick Starky has been kind enough to let me park my little RV at his shop, which is across the street from the track.
This will be the second seminar and workshop that Morgan has held in Malta. The first one was last April and was well-received by attendees. Previous students will be able to attend the workshop and test session without signing-up for the seminar a second time.
Tuition cost $85/day for the seminar and workshop, with a nominal fee for the track time (cost will be based on the number of cars that attend, but should be around $30/car.) The test session portion will include single-car 60-foot runs.
You can register by calling Dave at 567/242-9779, or visit his website at www.davemorganseminars.com. Online registration will only include the seminar and workshop. If you plan to bring your car, you’ll still need to make arrangements with Dave over the phone.
