2009 races will be run with classes like IHRA rules specify. Although the names vary between IHRA and NHRA the concept is the same. The five classes we will have is Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, High School, and a couple of classes of Juniors. Depending on car count will determine what happens. Anyone can come to the meetings and make suggestions. 2009 rule books are out. DanO
Break down of the times are not set in stone but will most likely be. super pro.. 4.40 - 7.49 pro.......... 5.65 - 8.59 sportsman. 7.50 - slower

Looks like a lot of overlap in the pro dept. 5.65 seems fast (way fast) for Pro . A 5.6 in the eight is in the 8's and a 8.59 is equal to a mid 13. A 7.5 eighth is approx mid/high 11's. I will look into the safety breaks and the common breaks and give you some more input. I dont have the answers (official opinions) right now.

As per Billings Website (Quarter mile times) I put 1/8 mile in parantheses. The Malta track is a little quicker due to altitude.
